At the counter

Keep the sale clear from the first product to the total

A point of sale needs to make everyday work easy to follow. Product selection, received payment and the final amount belong in the same workflow.

01 / Product selection

Search and category browsing

Find products using search or narrow the product list by category. Add items to the sale and change quantities as the customer's purchase changes.

02 / Sale totals

Subtotal, discount and total

Review the subtotal and final sale amount, enter a discount when needed, and record what the customer has paid before saving the sale.

03 / Receipts

Print the sale receipt

Produce a receipt after recording the sale. The POS includes an auto-print receipt option for businesses that want to print as part of their sales flow.

04 / Customer records

Link the sale to a customer

Select the customer for the sale and keep the transaction connected with their order and payment records, making later balance and invoice checks easier.

05 / Inventory

Use your existing product catalogue

Work with the products and categories maintained in your distribution account. Keep stock entries and sales in the same system and review available stock using your configured stock workflow.

06 / Mobile layout

A screen that adapts to the device

Use the responsive sales screen on a desktop or phone. Product search, category controls and sale totals adapt to smaller screens, with extra tools available when you need them.

How it works

Build a sale without losing sight of the amount due

Set up your products first, then follow the same steps for each sale. Try the full process before using it at a busy counter.

  1. Add the products you sell

Create categories and product records in your account. Check names and prices so your team can identify the correct item during a sale.

  2. Select the customer and items

Open POS Sale, select the customer, and add products. Use search or categories to find items, then check the quantities.

  3. Review discount and received payment

Check the subtotal, apply any discount and enter the received amount. Review the final total before adding the sale.

  4. Save the sale and provide the receipt

Record the completed sale and print the receipt when required. Return to the customer and sales records when you need to review the transaction.

Common questions

Questions about DistributorFlow POS

What is POS software?

Point of sale software records what a customer buys, calculates the amount due and stores the sale. DistributorFlow POS includes product selection, quantities, discounts, received payment and receipt printing.

Can I print a receipt after a sale?

Yes. The POS provides receipt printing and an auto-print receipt option. Test your browser and printer setup with a sample sale to confirm the printed layout suits your business.

Can I use the POS on a phone?

The web POS has a responsive mobile layout. You can search products, use category controls and review sale totals on a smaller screen. Receipt printing still depends on the device, browser and printer setup you use.

Does the POS share products with the distribution system?

Yes. It uses the products and categories in your account, so your counter sales and distribution work can use the same catalogue. Review your configured stock handling when testing the sales workflow.

Can I start without buying a paid package?

A free account is available. The pricing section shows the current welcome allowance, capacity and conditions, together with the paid options for additional usage.

Does it include a payment terminal or tax-system integration?

Recording a received payment is separate from processing a bank-card transaction or connecting a tax system. Contact our team about your specific integration requirements before choosing a setup.
