Build your catalogue

How to add a product

Add a product in DistributorFlow: choose its category, enter units per box and prices, set visibility, then save and record stock separately.

Create an item that can be used in orders, POS and stock.

Where to start

Products > Add Product

Steps

  1. Create the product category first, then open Products > Add Product.
  2. Select the category and enter a distinct product name. Include the size or variant when it helps the team tell items apart.
  3. Set units per box to match how you buy and sell the product. A single item and a full carton must not be entered as the same quantity.
  4. Enter the purchase, trade and selling prices required by your workflow. Check the unit each rate applies to before saving.
  5. Review the order-taker benefit and product visibility settings. Add an optional product image if your account has the required photo allowance.
  6. Save the product and find it in All Products. Add stock through Stock > Add/Remove Stock; creating the product alone does not add inventory.

Example

Add Great Super 1L (Pista) under Great Super 1L with 1 unit per box.

Before you finish

Stock is added separately through Stock > Add/Remove Stock.
