Book, approve and deliver orders

How to record delivery and receiving

Keep packing, delivery outcome and cash receiving separate when completing a DistributorFlow delivery or recording a failed visit.

Record packing, delivery outcome or order-clearing information.

Where to start

Orders > Shared order list > Row status/actions

Steps

  1. Open the assigned order and check the customer and products before dispatch or the shop visit.
  2. Update packing information when the goods are prepared; packing alone is not proof of delivery.
  3. At the customer, record what actually happened: successful delivery, failure or the applicable outcome.
  4. Enter the amount actually collected and the permitted visit information. Do not enter the full invoice value if only part was paid.
  5. Save and review the order status and remaining customer balance. A failed visit can represent travel without representing a successful delivery.

Example

Mark an undelivered shop failed instead of claiming it was completed.

Before you finish

Locking or failed-delivery status can prevent bulk processing. A customer visit and financial order clear are separate records.
