How to control product visibility
Understand product availability, customer assignment, short lists and POS visibility before your team starts taking orders.
Control which products customers and POS can use.
Where to start
Products > All Products > Product switches
Steps
- Open Products > All Products and locate the intended item.
- Review whether the product is active before expecting it to be available.
- Check customer access and the All Customers option. General visibility and an individual customer assignment are different choices.
- Use the short-list setting for products you want shown by default. Review Show All when an assigned product is outside that short list.
- Review the applicable POS and discount options, save the change and check the relevant customer or POS screen.
Example
Keep Pista in the short list and use Show All in an order to find other assigned items.
