Order bookers and order takers
An order-booker app that connects shop requests to your distribution
Give the order booker their own account, prepare the customer shops and permitted products, then record the order during the shop visit. The distribution reviews the saved order and assigns delivery work. Booking, delivery and collection remain separate responsibilities.
See the current packages and allowances before you choose.
Use DistributorFlow on Android
The Google Play download link will be available here when published. You can use the phone-browser workflow with your permitted DistributorFlow account.
What should the administrator prepare for an order booker?
Set up the distribution, customer areas and shops before the first working route. Add the staff account, review its permissions and prepare the product access and agreed customer prices. Test one customer and one order with the employee before moving a whole route to the app.
- Choose the correct business and account currency.
- Check shop names, addresses and saved locations.
- Review the products the customer may order and any special rates.
- Check the shared order allowance and approval setting.
How does the employee take an order at a shop?
Open the order-creation workflow, select the customer, add the requested products and quantities, and check the rates. Allow location access when requested and wait for the saved result. Review where the order was saved before attempting another submission.
Select the shop
Confirm the intended customer and permitted catalogue before booking. A similar name or neighbouring location can belong to a different shop.
Record the request
Add the products in the correct units, check prices and review the completed order. A carton quantity must not be confused with an individual item.
Check the saved status
Review the returned confirmation or unconfirmed-order list. A saved order and a final approval are separate facts.
Pass delivery to the distribution
The authorised distribution team reviews the order and assigns the responsible salesman. The booker does not need to share an administrator login.
Are orders automatically approved?
Administrator and order-taker orders follow the distribution owner's auto-approval setting. Customer-created distribution orders remain unconfirmed for review. The owner controls the setting; an approved order still needs the correct delivery assignment and recorded outcome.
For example, a booker records a shop request for ten units. The office checks its saved approval state and assigns the delivery. The salesman later records what happened and the amount received. Those ten requested units are not evidence that the goods were delivered or paid for.
Can the team use Android or work without internet?
The phone-browser workflow can be used with the employee's permitted DistributorFlow account. Use the published Google Play link when it is available and check the installed app with that account. Ordinary distribution order booking should be used online; prepared offline POS is a separate supported workflow.
Allow the device permissions needed for the task and check that GPS is available when recording a location. Browser location accuracy depends on the device and its environment. Do not assume the visit map is a continuous live trace of the employee.
Product answers
Are an order booker and an order taker the same role here?
Both terms describe the staff member who records shop requests for the distribution. The seller or salesman handles the assigned delivery workflow. Review the actual account permissions before assigning responsibilities.
Can customers submit their own orders?
Yes. A connected customer account can select permitted products and submit a distribution order. Customer-created distribution orders require review before delivery processing.
Does the app guarantee every booking succeeds without internet?
No. Use ordinary order booking online and check its saved result. Offline sales apply to supported POS after online preparation on the intended account and device.
